My girlfriend bought a two five pound bags of chocolate on two separate occasions from this store. Her chocolate molds came out all chalky white and crumbly. The first time we called to complain the store owner told us that we must of burned the chocolate or gotten the plastic molds wet. We considered this a possibility, so she tried again with the same results. She decided to get her chocolates elsewhere for the last few months. All of her molds made from other stores products came out wonderful. \r

She needed a purple chocolate for a certain project and couldn't find it anywhere but the Chocolate Duck. Reluctantly, she caved in and bought another bag even though we noticed the product to have a little bit of the chalky white crud on it (the owner insisted that it was just the chocolate scratching each other in the bag). The same result as before occurred. When She called to complain he rudely told her that she obviously burned it and conveniently added that his store has a no return policy. A few days later we noticed half of the chocolate discs had a different hue on them then the other half. It seems pretty obvious to me that he had incorporated his smaller pound bags together without considering the expiration dates. \r

The Chocolate Duck is highly expensive, but I would overlook that if a certain kind of quality was achieved, but that is not the case here. Whether it be from incompetence or a desire to get rid of old, unappetizing products, this shows a massive lack in consideration for their customers. I'd highly recommend to stay away from this lackluster and unprofessional business.
