Where to start.. *Parking is terrible. I lived in one of the little ""cul de sac"" units where there's only 7 spots once you walk down the stairs and it's always the SAME 7 cars parked down there. I pretty much always had to park on the street and walk to the apartment. At least there isn't street sweeping - they just go around your car. *Staff/Leasing is AWFUL. They will never know your name, they aren't that friendly, they won't go out of their way to help you or make things easier on you and aren't personable in any way whatsoever. *Maintenance - wonderful! The guys that work here are super friendly, they always wave hi and smile, they are prompt with repairs and I've never had to worry about my place after they went in to fix something while I was gone. *Construction - recently phase 2 of Doria is being built.. enjoy construction workers and all the noise that entails when they are there 6 days a week. They take up quite a bit of the street for parking, they leave trash everywhere, be careful of the road (I've found nails in the street). *Pool/Spa - it's nice, don't get me wrong, but the pool is really all Mirasol has going for it. Have fun in the spa where tons of kids will be playing unattended, putting soap in the spa, and even the grown ups that bring glass drinkware around. *Driving around - better watch it as you drive to your garage or parking spot because more than once I've had to hit my brakes because kids are playing in the street or the parking spots, darting in front of cars - parents are yet again, nowhere to be found. *You'll find dog poo in the grass and on the sidewalk, so be careful. We never really had any bug problems so congratulations Mirasol, you got that right. We were lucky enough to have chain smoking neighbors that lived across from us that would glare at us every time we walked by. I always felt bad for the lady that lived next door to them, I bet her kitchen window never got opened. We had neighbors below us that would constantly argue (loudly) and we couldn't help but go out on our balcony and try to figure out what the husband did wrong now. *Overall, Mirasol is nice looking and it's relatively new. However it's not close to many things we needed, so overall.. there are plenty of other places that will offer you a better place to live all around. more
