The last time we were at the park I explained to her that her dog was not ready for sensory overload. I added that she needed to work with the dog a little more and to call me. She called me a year later, after she had moved to another state and demanded that I give her a refund. My contract includes unlimited phone follow-up and at any time she could have contacted me and explained the difficulties she was having. I would have been more than happy to guide her. I've been training dogs for years and am quite aware when my clients are not invovled with consistant day to day training. This person wanted fairy dust and magic without putting in the time and felt the need to blame me and make excuses for herself. Having to reschedule most always happens when the weather is not right for outdoor classes and in her case we were delayed by very hot weather and thunderstorms. If she would have called me soon after the last lesson we could continued and with a better outcome.
