First of all, sad to say that most of Esco is ghetto. If you want anything relatively liveable, you will either be paying an arm and a leg, or you will be in crime city. That being said, the pines is a jewel in the rough! The apartments - big by San Diego standards. The AC - cool. The nights - Quiet. My car, wife and baby - Safe. What more could you ask for?? We lived there for 3 years and I don't think the owners raised our rent once!!! Other places hit you with $50 or $100 rent increases each time your lease is up. :( \r

The owners are picky and tend to keep the 'bad' people out. If you're moving to North County inland, I suggest you check it out. You won't reget ;)
