I lived in a Carnegie building for 2 years. In the first month the fire marshals came in, kicked everyone out while they inspected and then condemned a third of the apartments. Then we were locked off the roof without any notice, and the roof is the MAIN attractive feature of the building and was listed as a place for public use. Now as I move out I find that Carnegie publically listed my phone number as the contact info for anyone who wants to take a look without asking my permission. I have been called by 6 individuals none of which thought I should need notice and by 2 individuals who just showed up and knocked. This company will treat you horribly as soon as they know they won't be collecting a rent check from you. They aren't much better when they are getting paid.
