I helped purchase my son and daughter n law a vehicle from a gentleman named Rob at Sunset Motors just 2 weeks ago. They are a young couple with 2 small children, and I wanted them to have a family vehicle. Their credit is not great yet, so we knew that price was going to be high. Understandable. However, the vehicle they purchased only ran for 4 days. It will not even start now. I instructed my son to call Rob and explain and get it fixed. He did, and was told that it was not Sunset Motor s problem anymore. NOT understandable. This is not good business. Very shady, and I m not sure what the laws are in South Carolina concerning something such as this, but I will be finding out. My son and daughter n law are hard working, honest people just trying to raise a family. This is exactly the kind of dirty business that discourages the public. I will hire an attorney if I am advised that there is ANYTHING that I can hold them responsible for. If there is no legal recourse, then I will remain publicly vocal and publicly outraged so that no other young, inexperienced person gets ripped off by Rob and Sunset Motors.
