Yesterday my son and I went into purchase a new car. He has excellent credit, paid off a car and bought another one. After a few test drives and talking in regards to price and payments we finally agreed on a price and terms. I'm not clear on why they brought the sales director over but they did and when he met us he was rude. He asked what our problem was we stated nothing we just wanted the best price and terms possible and advised what chevy was willing to do. Again at this time we were ready to buy the toyota. He laughed and said then go to that dealership. Both my son and I looked at each other and said ok, got up to leave. He started hackling my son who is a disabled veteran and yelling at us. I turned and said sir we are leaving and there is no reason for the disrespect or the yelling. He raised his voice and told me I needed to be quite for a minute and listen. I was actually being calm and respectful at this pint and had not even raised my voice. My son then yelled back to never speak to his mother that way and walked out. I asked for his card and went to walk out. The man followed me out to the car still yelling at me and my son even though we were trying to leave the premises. He hackled my son saying he would never get financing there ever and we wouldn't be able to buy a car anywhere, even though my son just purchased a new honda a few weeks ago. I was very scared at that point. I have never had someone attack us like that. The sales rep even apologized to us and said we did nothing wrong. We were ready to sign papers. I was actually scared for our safety at this point.
