I must say that I take great offense with some of the reviews written about Timmons Property. Our HOA has had Timmons as our management company for many years and are very pleased with them. I have been a member of the HOA board for numerous years and have found that in order for any management company to do their job properly – there needs to be good communication between the homeowners, the HOA board and the management company.\r

The review regarding not taking care of her shrubs and getting the gate fixed – I would suggest this person review the bylaws as more times than not – these items are the direct responsibility of the homeowner – NOT Timmons or the HOA. Unfortunately, there are many folks out there that still have the “apartment dweller” mentality and think everything to do with their home is someone else’s responsibility.\r
\r
Also – a solution to complaints about your neighbor is also NOT the responsibility of Timmons or the HOA. These folks are not baby sitters responsible for disciplining unruly children – even though sometimes it must seem that way – you – the homeowner must take care of this yourself.\r
\r
It’s similar to if someone breaks into your home or your neighbor is blaring loud music in the middle of the night - it is YOUR responsibility to call the police – NOT Timmons.\r
\r
And to the person that sang the praises of Ghertner – please – they were the management company for our property and at one point in time put in a report regarding termite damage stating that they replaced my kitchen floor. Now – if a gutter was replaced or a roof shingle – I may not have noticed – but my kitchen floor? That was a blatant untruth and if I owned a home in an area they managed – I would certainly be leery of the work they say they do – how they spend the association fees, et cetera. \r

It seems to me that some of these remarks about Timmons Property are so off course as to what we’ve experienced that it seems like maybe a competing company is making things up to try to sway business away from Timmons and to their company and that my friends is what I consider dirty pool.\r
\r
At any rate – I thank Timmons as a whole - especially Jim Trotter, Amy Eidem and Leslie for taking such very good care of us - we most certainly appreciate them!!!!!\r
