Well huhm........let's start with the positive: The oysters were good, the lobster was very good, and Landry's has put the Ribeye steak back on the menu. Also, the management and waiter were very accomodating in correcting mistakes. However, my wife's Ribeye that she ordered ""medium-plus"" was delivered blood-rare, inside. My Blackened Redfish Etoufee arrived without the crawfish and sauce, and my daughter's planked salmon was less-than-stellar, judging by my daughter's face, and her meager attempt to eat any of it. I think Landry's should just start by trying to hold onto the current staff, and just work with them on getting things right. The constant change in management and waitstaff, just proliferates the problems. I keep hoping that Landry's will level-out into being an upscale, stable, consistent restaurant. But after 10 years of hoping.........all I can do is to continue to hope. PS: Put the condiments back on the tables. Having to beg and hunt down waitstaff to get condiments is ridiculous.
Pros: Best Oysters and Lobster in Houston
Cons: Service can sometimes be unpredictable, but it's been improving
