$ 200 to diagnose a wiring problem, $206.45 to install $ 48 worth of parts?
Feel that I was taken advantage of due to my situation which involved an ignition interlock device that may have contributed to the problem, and the fact that I had to have the truck towed in from my home which is over 75 miles away.
RESPONSE FROM Bron's Automotive Inc:
Charles, I am sorry that you are less than satisfied with your experience at my shop, but am glad that your vehicle is doing OK. Unfortunately it does take some time to diagnose complicated electrical issues, and when repairing wiring problems, it is not unusual for the labor to be more than the parts, since connectors, terminal ends, heat shrink, and wire are all relatively inexpensive items. We didn't actually install these parts, but rather used them up in the process of repairing your wiring harness. Your ignition interlock device was not part of the problem we repaired, and so neither it nor the fact that the vehicle had to be towed in had any effect on the cost of repairs. Please call if I can help explain this more, and again, I am sorry your experience was not better. Sincerely, Bron
