I had wanted to have Brothers Collision inspect a used car I was considering for purchase, but for logistical reasons was unable to do so. I ended up bringing the car to another known and well-respected mechanic in my area.
After I had made my purchase, I brought the car to Brothers anyway for service which I knew the vehicle required, not for an inspection, but simply for safe use.
Brothers ( to my dismay and my expectation and relief) discovered a couple of problems the first mechanic had not discovered. These oversights were not hidden or hard to find, they were simply not caught. Nor were they insignificant. (It was this first mechanic's assessment, for which I paid by the way, which convinced mt that my decision to purchase was sound.)
As most can understand, I was not at all happy to learn about the repairs that had been missed, but in the end grateful to have them discovered and reported in such a way that I could piece together a maintenance plan that would fit within my budget while not risking road-worthiness of the car.
I do not like cars. I regard them as necessary evils of our day. Though I dislike car repair bills as much as anyone I am very glad to have Brothers Collision on my side in this never-ending battle. I know that when I go to retrieve my car after service that the job has been done properly and that any incidental or secondary problem that cropped up has been reported to me. Further, prior to beginning any costly repair, I get a phone call from Brothers to discuss repair options. I get to make the choice. It is not done, then brought to me after the fact. We go forward, together, with our eyes wide open and reading the same page.
In short, Brothers Collision is competent, conscientious, caring, honest and fair. These are qualities which seem to getting rare rather than more common. They're friendly, too, which goes a long way in my book.
If you cannot get by on a horse or a Big Wheel, then you are likely needing a car. You will want Brothers on your Speed Dial.
