When you're new to an area it's always difficult to trust someone new with your pet, especially if you don't have family or friend’s reviews to go on. I took my cat into Murrayhill Veterinary Hospital for an emergency visit a few months back based solely on internet reviews. They were booked solid, but they said they always make time for emergencies. I'm so glad they do! \r

My cat all of a sudden started acting lethargic and was having difficulty breathing. They checked her in and admitted her right away. Little did I know that she was dangerously ill. Her heart was extremely enlarged and she had fluid in her lungs. Dr. Zawadzki and I discussed her thoughts and concerns and decided on a plan of action for Sam. Later that day she called me with the test results. Sam was very sick, but they were able to get her stable, explain everything to me clearly, and walk me step by step toward getting her better. In Sam's case, they referred me to local cardiologist who confirmed Dr. Zawadzki's prognosis. During my cat’s lengthy recovery, the whole staff at Murrayhill Vet have been so helpful. They work seamlessly with the cardiologist, answer any questions I have, and Dr. Zawadzki has spent a considerable amount of time on the phone with me. Even just calling to check up on Sam! \r

I know that my cat is in good hands there, and I truly believe that they care deeply for the animals they treat. Their facility is very nice, clean, and a relaxed environment for pets. They even gave me a significant price break on my cat's initial emergency visit, even though they didn't have to. I never had a bad experience at my old vet, but I really think that Murryhill is setting a new standard. I couldn't be happier! After all, what more can you ask from a veterinarian than to treat your pet like they would treat their own? Thank you again Dr. Zawadzki and staff. You ALL are amazing!\r
