What a HORRIBLE experience I had w/ AllStar Moving!!! Issues w/ scheduling, going over time, & damaged items. I called to make an apt & no one called me back after 3 days so I called & left another message stating that if no one called me back I was going w/ a different company. (I had already purchased their services via Living Social) Finally someone returned my call & we scheduled an apt.\r \r Skip forward to moving day. Everything is packed & ready w/ 3 people waiting at our new home to help unpack & the movers haven't arrived & haven’t called so I call & no one answers. Surely if they were running late they would call... well 30 minutes pass & I call numerous times & NO ONE answers! I leave about 3 messages. Now it's an hour past the time they are supposed to be here so I call Living Social & finally they get me in touch w/ someone who claims that whoever I made the apt w/ must have forgotten to write it down but they'll send someone over as soon as they can. 2 hours later they finally arrive & try to tell me that they had me scheduled for a few days prior-which is a straight up LIE & I guess an attempt to take the blame off them? I know it's not the actual mover’s faults so I don't argue & just let them do their job. They were polite & well-mannered but were slow & not careful w/ a few items. I was satisfied w/ their performance even though it took an hour longer than it should have but my husband & I are okay w/ this, pay the additional money, tip the movers, & start unpacking.\r \r We notice door frames in the new & old place are chewed up from furniture hitting them. One door they had to carry a large desk through so I understood but the other door there was no excuse except carelessness. My dresser had 2 identical chunks of wood missing from either side of it (must have happened during transit) but we were OK w/ this until we saw that our BRAND NEW washer had a dent right in the front of it & the scuffs all over it & the dryer. That was the last straw so I call them & OF COURSE no one answers! What kind of business NEVER answers their phone? I write them an email stating how disappointed we were & about the damage to our stuff & that if they did not respond in 2 days I was going to report them to the AMSA & leave bad reviews on the internet. As you can see they have yet to return my call or e-mail so here is my bad review. \r \r There are so many other better moving companies in Memphis I would STAY FAR AWAY FROM ALLSTAR MOVING. Their customer service is nonexistent & if they keep damaging people's stuff they won't be in business for long. - Lindsey Lucchesi more
