I was very happy my Dad recommended this company to ship my car from Los Angeles to Pittsburgh, PA. I was very pleased with the organization of the company, the communication between Mr. Metti and myself and the fact that I knew I was being taken care of as well as my vehicle. I will admit that I was NOT pleased with the driver, Zohar (702 883-4457) assigned by Q Express Co. The manager, Pablo was nice to me, but my stress started when the driver first contacted me. He was very condescending and treated me like I was a burden to him. On Saturday the 2nd, Zohar called and said they would be arriving between 1-3pm on Sunday. He claimed I owed him $895, I told him I paid the deposit of $195 and will owe $700. He didn't seem to believe me and told me he was going to call his boss and if I was wrong, kinda raised his voice and said I would be hearing from him...and then hung up on me. Sunday, the 3rd, I contacted him around 11am asking if I could write a personal check (after speaking to Mike, I can understand why personal checks are not allowed). I asked Zohar if I could get a money order and he told me ONLY cash. It was 2:50pm when Zohar called and said he was at an exit ramp off the highway 80. I hadn't even bought the money order yet because he had told that morning that they weren't arriving until between 3:30-4pm due to snow. My ATM could not dispense $700 so I was able to get $400 cash out and get a $300 money order. Zohar told me he wanted all cash and rudely told me, "you have known this all week." He called his boss and it was fine to split it that way. I couldn't understand what the problem was. The exit is about 20 min. away from my house and as we (I brought a witness in case he gave me a hard time) were driving to the exit, Zohar called twice asking if I was almost there yet. He was very impatient and rude to me on the phone! I was a bit annoyed because the agreement was door to door.......not an exit ramp. And I had suggested places where the truck would have no problems pulling in and out........like our Walmart parking lot. He told me he didn't want to drive into town. There was a TA right off the ramp where he could have pulled in too. I said hi to him and he made some sarcastic comment about the $700. Again, I was VERY satisfied with Metti International and with Mr. Mike, but the whole experience with the driver bothered me. My stomach was in knots because Zohar would argue with me. I don't even know if he was Zohar because I think there were two guys. All I know is I had been talking to the guy who handed me the keys....a really BIG man. I don't mean to sound like a complainer or a pity me female. I just wanted to write this because my experience was awesome with Metti, but it turned sour when this driver was assigned to my car. All of the stars that I rated was for Metti. If it were for Q Express or the driver.....there would be ONE star per rating....if that.
