The biggest loss that our society faces is business owners possessing passion for the industry they work in. It seems as if everyone is geared towards making a profit for oneself as opposed to bringing contentment in the lives of others while being rewarded with profit.\r

Fortunately, Smokehouse was able to reassure me that there are still individuals out there dedicated to the customer's needs.\r

My observations are not solely based on my personal experience upon entering the establishment, but rather the interactions I saw with other customers. It was such a refreshing sight to see everyone work as a team, and treat each visitor as if they were part of their own family. Expect to GENUINELY feel appreciated when you visit Smokehouse, a feeling that you don't get too often. It brings you back to the classic American days.\r

To compliment the superb hospitable ambiance is their delicious cuisine. I ordered a slab of ribs with their homemade BBQ sauce, which comes with cole slaw and a plentiful portion of fries. Ribs are smoked in house and the pieces were meaty while filled with flavor without the sauce even on top of it. My taste for BBQ sauce is usually selective, but the Smokehouse definitely concocted a winner. A beautiful equilibrium of sweet/tangy and spice that not only harmonized with my ribs, but also my french fries as a dipping sauce. In fact, I decided to have my fries with some ketchup and the dullness of the plain tomato flavor couldn't compare to the BBQ sauce I had just been eating. Additionally, the french fries were crisp and freshly made. I learned that the fries at the Smokehouse are made to order never sitting under a heat lamp. The coleslaw was a great cold food contribution to the two hot items on my plate.\r

The simplicity, the quaintness, the tasteful food and the sincerity in their work makes Smokehouse an establishment worth visiting. I think more people should focus on supporting businesses like Smokehouse that value their work and find happiness in seeing the elated faces of their customers as they indulge in their freshly made burgers and ribs.
