AWFUL communication!!!! My father passed away at this hospital just a week ago. It was very unexpected. Thankfully, my mom and brother left but about 5 minutes later the billing rep came by to get some information. First of all, we were in the family waiting room and another doctor later told us that they should not have come into this room at all. Knowing I am the only person there related to him this woman proceeds to ask questions about my dad's birth date, social, residency and then wants me to sign a document for treatment. I have been informed that I lost my father less than 30 min ago and she wants permission to treat him??? I asked her For what!! He's dead!! Apparently, in their rush to get paid they do not have any steps in place to make sure these kinds of things do not happen. My husband spoke to someone who said they would discuss the situation with the board of directors. I cannot believe the insensitivity of this place. This should not happen. It's not like it was just a mistake they do not care enough to make sure this doesn't happen. I will never use their services again. I have heard some bad things about this hospital but this is unacceptable.
