We were lured by the words "progressive" and "alternative" but having been their patients for some time decided to go to another doctor.\r

Here is a story from our experience.\r

Mr. Gilliam persuaded my wife to undergo a certain test by telling her the test was covered by the insurance. That test wasn't essential, so she only took it because it was covered. However, it turned out that Mr. Gilliam misinformed my wife about the coverage, and we ended up paying $164.08 out of pocket. The office admitted their mistake but refused to write down the charge or any portion of it. Of course, it was our responsibility to check the coverage, so this is not a legal but a moral issue.\r

Also, if you decided to go to this clinic, be prepared to pay fees that other providers normally don't charge. For example, the "specimen collection fee" just for taking your bloodwork. This fee is not covered by insurance plans and will be your out-of-pocket expense.
