We were introduced to Wilson Vet when our 13 year old male black lab needed overnight care to address some liver issues. While there, he underwent some tests and it was dicsovered that he had growths in his liver and abdomen. Knowing that he was probably ill when we adopted him a year prior, this didn't come as a surprise.\r

We worked with Dr. Amy Hawkins on a course of treatment that would provide him the most comfort and length of life. Over the next few months, his condition worsened, until it became evident that the right thing to do was to help him 'cross the rainbow bridge'. \r

Dr. Hawkins and the entire staff at Wilson Vet demonstrated compassion beyond measure. The options presented were very clear and understandable. It was ultimately our decision, and though it broke our hearts to say good-bye, we could see and feel the staff alongside us each step of the way. \r
