Worst of all, if you are five days late for even 10% of one month's rent, expect to be served with an unlawful detainer and you and your family members personally bullied as though you have not paid rent in months. Lease contains language allegedly permitting these actions, in violation of state law, but very expensive to fight legally. There are way too many other affordable options in the area run by reputable management companies. Often, those being bullied are Energy is bad. Stay away unless you are truly desperate.
