Editorial review from Citysearch 2/26/2013

I let you be the judge. This man (Maddox) charged me over seven hundred dollars to take my transmission apart to tell me what he already knew was wrong with it. It would have cost me almost $4000.00 to fix the transmission for which the truck wasn't worth that so I decided not to fix it and traded it in as is. When I tried to get him to show me a little mercy because of the situation he told me ""that was my problem and not his"". Sounds like he really ""cares about his customers"". Then he told me that of the $761.00 ""$125.00 of that was to put the parts in a box and put the cross member back on the truck so it could be towed. Would you trust someone like him? You probably saying that I'm doing this because I'm made. Yes & No. It's been almost 2 months now so I've cooled off some what but I am still angry that people like him will kick someone when they already down. He also tried to get us to file what he knew was a false claim on my car insurance. I and anyone who knows me knows that I am a honest person and would'nt hurt anybody therefore, I know you are not suppose to swear but I swear by every breath that God gives me that every word I stated above is the Truth. I would walk 100 miles a day to work before I every let that man touch anything me or my family owns. If you still don't believe me just ask around town like he said ""he's been around for a long time so a lot of people knows him real well. Don't let the positive feedback lure you in, its probably some he did his self or paid someone to do. He's a crooked man so by pass his business and if you don't and you get burned such as I just smile and go on because you've been warned. more
