I am a boater and live less than 2 miles from Liberty Landing Marina, the dock hands are nice enough but manager’s terrible…. what can I say DON'T PATRONIZE THEM. I got a price quote over the phone to haul a 34 foot boat of $236 they charged my CC over $800 that’s $22 per foot. There are other Marinas in the area that will treat you as if you were part of their family. Try Liberty Harbor Marine which is directly opposite Liberty landing Marina or New Port Marina 2 miles north with direct views of the city skyline and handle boats over 100' these are a much better choice. Both have access to the light rail, ferry service, and path to NYC and at least 10 restaurants all less than a 5 minute walk from the dock. I am setting up a vhf in my apartment and will be informing all boaters to beware of Liberty Landing marina. Help me send a message, with our boating dollars, to Liberty Landing Marina that these types of practices are not accepted by the boating community.
