Our 5 year old son is in Kindergarten at the Goddard School in Castle Rock and I can't say enough about this school! Not only is he well-taken care of in an unbelievably clean and healthy environment (extremely clean!), but he is super happy there as well! He loves his teachers and can't wait to go to school every day and actually gets upset when we pick him up after school as he doesn't want to leave (I'm not joking!). The flexible times we have to take him to school and pick him up are also wonderful (they are open 7-6) as there are days that we have greatly needed to be able to take him or pick him up outside of regular “school hours.”\r
Ms. Diana is a really good Kindergarten teacher and our son will be extremely prepared and most likely further ahead of the other children when he attends the private school our older children go to. His birthday is near the cut-off and our school encouraged us to keep him back a year. It was a big dilemma for us as to what to do and we luckily found the Goddard school to give us this year in order to evaluate and see where he will better fit in next year. He began in August (6 months ago) not knowing all of the alphabet or being able to read and he is now reading at a beginner level. He is far more advanced than our older children were! He is more than prepared to go to first grade rather than start Kindergarten again. The Castle Rock Goddard school Kindergarten class he is in is a small class where the children get along really well and they learn at a much faster pace due to the one-on-one time and the attention to detail they get in their small classroom.\r

Our son is truly thriving at the Castle Rock Goddard School. I can honestly say he is in the best environment he could be in and the teachers and staff are absolutely wonderful. These children are well-taken care of and they are safe and happy. I also want to point out that I am amazed at the life lessons our son learns as well. He comes home with all sorts of stories about the manners and the good-behavior lessons he learned in school that day. That is not very common where children are being taught not only a good education, but a good life-education as well as far as how to be courteous and kind and treat others with respect and care.\r

Finally, I want to point out that the owners are doing this the right way. They are extremely nice, receptive, caring, and they are running a school the right way. It is clean, friendly, safe, and a “family-oriented” atmosphere. I can’t speak highly enough of the Castle Rock Goddard School and I wish our son could continue with them further! We went into it not knowing where to place him due to where his birthday falls and we ended up finding the absolutely BEST possible place he could be in! Thank you Vince and Nancy and all of the staff at the Castle Rock Goddard School for taking care of our son and making him feel so loved, cherished, well-adjusted, and happy!\r
