Extremely disappointed with this shop and believe they are incompetent and negligent.\r

I noticed an oil leak from my car and took it in for a thorough exam and was very explicit stating that I wanted them to call me regarding the results before doing any work. Instead they changed the oil pan gasket for a charge of $360 ($80 above the going rate). When they called to tell me my vehicle was finished they assured me that everything went well and they didn’t see any other problems so I paid for the work over the phone and picked it up after hours.\r

The next day I noticed more drops of oil on my driveway in addition to signs of a leaking radiator. I brought my car back the next day and they put pressure on the radiator, which showed a fresh leaking radiator crack. With the car on the lift it was obvious that the leak was coming from the timing belt cover which indicates a potentially serious problem (main seal, timing belt issues, possible bent push rods if neglected) that if not addressed immediately would have resulted in thousands of dollars work of repair or an non-repairable car. This leak was not noticed by the shop when they had it on the lift the day before.\r

I immediately took it to another establishment that was familiar with my problem and recognized it right away. They recommended a Timing Belt Kit which included a new water pump timing belt and all the necessary gaskets and covers. Along with a NEW Radiator my cost of actual repairs with labor came to just over $900. I feel is a fair price for finding a competent establishment and piece of mind.\r

After further investigation I found that oil pans on my type of vehicle rarely have a problem and I doubt that the pan gasket did leak.\r

I cannot recommend this establishment and strongly urge you to look elsewhere for vehicle repair.\r
