We came home from the Big 10 Championship Game Sunday afternoon to find out that our sewer line had backed up into the basement of the home we were renovating. Nate, from Roto-Rooter, drove through the snowstorm to get here within an hour and begin working on our problem. Not only did he do it with expediency and a significant sense of urgency, he also calmy and coolly explained to us what the issues causing this problem could be; what the related costs could be; what we could do to attack the issue; and then provided his recommendations and reassurances. For my wife, who was imagining the expense of tearing up the yard to dig up a broken sewer pipe, Nate was a comforting security blanket in the storm of sewage in our basement. Nate then started diagnosing and applying a doctor-like analysis to the problem and started surgery on our pipes and stayed at it for awhile until he found the problem with the camera and started the removal and solution process. While I stood there in a couple inches of sewer water and back-up with him, he focused in on resolving the issue and then finished the job with a professionalism that personally was reassuring and refreshing. Honestly, Roto-Rooter is a tremendous company and they've got an all-star on their roster in Nate. He was almost like a personal psychologist, physician and surgeon wrapped into one and went above-and-beyond the call of duty to resolve what was a significant issue. We couldn't be more thrilled with him and with Roto-Rooter and would definitely recommend them to anyone and everyone. They get the job done and then some -- and their follow-up, follow-through and talented team will take care of you and then ensure everything is resolved satisfactorily. As my daughter said, ""ROTO-ROOTER ROCKS!""
