I went to school in Geneseo in the late 70s and have been dreaming about Aunt Cookies subs since I left. Traveling through the area yesterday, I found myself near Geneseo and decided to see if they were still there. They were! I ordered my old favorite - roast beef and Swiss on Italian bread - and I was thrilled to find that it lived up to my memory of it. Really good seeded Italian bread, warm and toasty. Aunt Cookies was doing toasted subs decades before the big national chains, but no one has come close. Just hope I don't have to wait another 33 years for my next sub...
