I wish I could say I had a good experience with Shell Car Care as did other reviewers. Two years ago my car ""died"" at the Shell station on Christmas Eve while getting gas. I left the car at the station and within a few days, they diagnosed the problem & installed an alternator in it for which they charged a premium price. Just a few days ago, on Christmas, my car ""died"" again while driving down the street. I had it towed to the dealership where I purchased it, and was told it needed a new alternator! After inspecting the alternator, it was discovered that it had numbers written on it consistent with parts sold at a salvage yard! I feel deceived because I paid a premium price for a used part that only lasted two years. Their deceptive practice also caused me and my family a great deal of stress on a holiday that should have been peaceful.
