Had a screw lodged in one of my tires.
In pursuit of a fix, I called no fewer than four auto/tire repair joints on 12/23. Everyone was backed up and wouldn't take me (I even left work to get to Goodyear, who told me they would take me, but then proceeded to tell me they wouldn't repair or replace my tire).
On a whim and back from a disappointing trip to Goodyear, I stopped at Hondar, who took my car in, chatted with me, fixed a brakelight I didn't know was out, and plugged my tire.
The service tech also checked my coolant levels when I asked and also went in depth to explain to me what he was doing and why: it was obvious he loved cars and loved talking about them.
After a series of disappointments and bad customer service elsewhere, Hondar pulled through on a busy day right before the holidays. I will make Hondar my first stop from now on.
