My boyfriend and I stopped here on our way home to Sacramento after a day playing in the snow. It was totally unplanned -- Ikeda's a few doors down was closed. \r

It turned into a completely romantic dinner sitting right in front of the fire and the fact that we were wearing jeans and sweaters didn't seem to bother anyone. My boyfriend declared the sausage and Portabello mushroom pizza we shared one of the best he'd ever eaten and we ordered an apple pie and creme brule. They could have carmelized the top a little longer, but it was pretty fantastic. My BF's apple pie was delicious! \r

We had a wonderful time. The wait staff could be a little more welcoming for that extra touch, but they were nice enough. We plan on going back to sit by the fire again, next time to try a full out dinner.
