Pictures are worth 1000 words: please see attached.\r Below are from the contract, invoice and communication from Dan and his attorney.\r (Estimate) Rotted wood to be replaced or repaired at a time & material cost due to not knowing how much damage.\r (Post) Contractor has completed the power washing, priming & finish coating of the exterior.\r Repaired & replaced wood trim at freeze board front & driveway side of house.\r \r The interior work was supposed to be simply touch up and repair with corner to corner painting, where needed\r Contractor has completed the interior repairs & painting of all rooms thru-out.\r \r We will guarantee all exterior work for a period of 3 years.(In his contract)\r \r Dan Collins sued us for nonpayment of this work. From Dan Collins’ Lawyer… “My client reviewed the pictures and says that in a typical job on a house that is this old there may be areas that peel after time… and he can always return to repair them if necessary.” Dan Collins did return to try to repair and meanwhile sued us. This is work that was completed that started falling apart in less than 6 months. \r \r If you are looking for a receipt… \r From his attorney: Dan does not keep detailed records of the cost of materials or labor on his jobs. \r From Dan: its really not in our contract to divulge costs unless specific work was done out side of our agreement.\r more
