RPM manages a rental property for us.\r
\r
The positive -- They manage rental properties and I don't have to deal with it. They find tenants, collect rent, inspect properties, do basic maintenance and some repairs, and we benefit from their resources and experience. And most of the RPM employees I've talked with have been reasonable friendly and seem to genuinely want to do a good job.\r
\r
The negative -- They seem to operate in crisis mode and non-crisis stuff is frequently neglected as a result, so the things they say they'll do don't necessarily get done. Second, and probably related to the first, they rarely respond to communication other than phone calls, and to those only when actually available to take the call in that moment.\r
\r
RPM has some good potential. Unfortunately, the occasional mishaps, apparent crisis focus, and poor communication patterns have made it less of the worry-free experience they advertise.\r
