I have lived on this Island 29 years and at this Mobile Home Community for 20 years. I can't imagine living anywhere else but Bethel Island. The review by you, ssw999, must have been infested with those drugs you speak of. As for the locals, we are a friendly community and we watch out for each other. It's a good thing you didn't use your real name or try to get acquainted with anyone in this community or you could have had some great times, unless you were infested with the drugs you speak of. As for the locals robbing you, there are punks everywhere. As for transportation and kids having to walk 13 miles to school... NOW I know you are high. There's at least 5 or 6 schools within 8 miles and none of the kids in this park walk to school. DUH! Can you say ""school bus""? If you can't say that can you say ""public transportation?"" Can you say ""mom's lazy and won't drive us""? I can't believe you spent your precious time making these statements and am I ever glad to be the person to discover this >review<. You probably were kicked out by your boyfriend because of your infestation and/or attitude... we'll miss you.. NOT! If you don't have anything nice to say just don't say anything. You're really lucky this community doesn't know your name or even the space number where you flopped. As for the 2 boat launches... again, I stress... You had to be high, or just can't count. Did you ever drive around and check out this beautiful Island? There ARE places to keep a boat, RV, etc., but they are not free. The manager of the park was probably doing her job and therefore you had bad things to say. Keep it to yourself. It's not our business! I'm sharing this on Facebook in hopes that somebody may know who you are and they will handle you accordingly. If you don't like it here please don't come here. Don't trash the whole Island over your unhappiness. Put on your big girl panties and move on. We'll stay where we are and enjoy our beautiful community and possibly mourn the loss of your company.
