This clinic gave a puppy that weighed less that 5 pounds a whopping 7 vaccinations at one appointment. SEVEN! They gave a typical 5-way, when the AVMA says the standard 4-way is all that s needed, they gave the nasal kennel cough vaccination, and they gave the cainine flu vaccination, all in one visit. Then, they added two, duplicate pesticides to the mix - Ivermectin and Selemectin - for ear mites. If they were going to use the Selemectin, which is Revolution, why did they also double up and put Ivermectin in the puppy s ears? Revolution gets rid of ear mites, anyway! (Was this clinic considering the massive expenses to the owner, I wonder? They sure weren't considering the puppy!) So, this little baby got SEVEN vaccinations and two strong pesticide treatments on the same visit. Is it any wonder that, 9 days later, the puppy was back in the office just as sick as she could be? I suggest that you carefully go over any all treatments this clinic wants to give your pet before you give them the go-ahead, lest they take unnecessary chances and use overly aggressive practices with your pet, too! They took an awful chance at harming this little puppy, and, sure enough, they assaulted her immune system so drastically that she became ill. :( Thank God it wasn't worse than it was!\r more
