I'm not sure who the people below are talking about. Our experiences with Dr. Fontenot have been wonderful! In the spring, we took our 10 yr 12 lb. Jack/Chi mix in for an eye irritation. Dr. Fontenot was very pleasant, informative, and made sure I understood all the details to treat Rocco. A few weeks ago, I brought Rocco in to have his anal glands cleaned and there was blood in the sac. Dr. Fontenot examined Rocco (at no charge), found a small tumor, and recommended surgery to remove the anal gland. He called later with an estimate. I contacted another vet specialist/surgeon in the area and I pd $142 for a consultation with a small animal internal med doc. He also recommended surgery and my other questions needed to be directed to the surgeon. Their "high" estimate was three times what Dr. Fontenot quoted. I reconnected with Dr. Fontenot who spent 15 minutes on the phone with me, answered all my questions, and the surgery was scheduled. On the day of the surgery, I had a few more ques
