It is certainly difficult today to find good mechanics, as well as ones that you can trust. My problem started with a different repair shop that supposedly fixed a faulty clutch but in the process didn’t reconnect the speedometer and the odometer on my 92 Legacy. The other shop told me that it was broken before they worked on my car, which my husband and I knew that was not true. And even if it was broken before, why couldn’t they fix it. They did recommend this shop (Evans Automotive) on Morse and I give them credit for that.\r \r The person I worked with at Evans was very nice and had one of his mechanics explain what was wrong with the speedometer and then proceeded to give me a cooking class on how you can’t cook without oil or you’ll burn out the motor. Little do they now that I am a terrible cook? In this day and age when people are so depressed and so fearful of getting ripped off, it was so delightful to work with this company (Evans Automotive). I felt like they really enjoyed their work and the people they work with.\r more
