Setter Rob 11/6/2013

Harley Boos treated Harley Eisner for a terrible, lingering limp from hunting too hard. An ultrasound revealed muscle and ligament tears too small to justify surgery. Over several months the Llewellin setter had two shots of Cortisone in each shoulder, so deftly administered by Dr. Boos that he only yawned as the needles went into his shoulder joints. I thought he would never get better, and Dr. Boos's words of wisdom and exhortations for patience helped my through this. Since July Har has been limp-free and is now back to his old trick of pointing pheasant way up in the trees and is hunting two hours a day. more
