I took my dog here for the first time (after switching because I moved) and my experience was HORRIBLE.. When we were called into the room I sat down with my dog, (there was two young girls in the room) they wanted to put her on the table immediately so I put her up there thinking they were ready to begin..wrong..as soon as she was on the table a very young girl clenched her with one arm under her belly and one arm under her neck (not once did they inform me they were going to handle her like that)..then they didnt even do anything with her for the first few minutes she was just standing there clenching my dog (at my previous vet the dog did not get on the table until the dr was ready to begin, no one is standing there holding my dog but me, and as soon as she was done the dog gets down) then the girl proceeds to tell me they hold the animal like that incase they bite..I said I can't hold her? She said no because we know how to hold them ( if my dog would have turned her head to the right she could have bit the girl right in the face) so that did not make any sense to me not to mention it was making my dog very uncomfortable because the previous vet DID NOT hold her down like that so she was not used to that..finally after a good 5-10 minutes of my dog being on the table and only having her temperature taken another dr came in to take blood..after getting the needle in she realized it wasn't in the vein so she pulls it halfway out and starts turning it left and right to find it..then after that failed they called another dr in to try the other leg..so of course at this point my dog is freaked out and majorly stressed (not once did anyone talk to my dog to calm her down or pet her to comfort her or anything like that, and infact they just kept saying to me shes fine, she's ok shes alright, when clearly she was not) the other woman comes in and starts to grab her leg and my dog started squirming and rather than let her relax or calm her down they just clenched tighter so after seeing this and hearing my dogs breathing I told them she needed to let her go and that they were making me very uncomfortable which what I wanted to say was that they were p**sing me off..so they put that on hold and started her physical..after all that was over the girl would not let me pick her up to take her off the table.. she did and then she would not let go of her collar even though we were in a closed room..**my dog was abused by previous owners and is very attatched to me and nervous around new people and i made them aware of this..thinking that they would be more cautious with her ..but no..at my previous vet there was ONE person in the room the whole time, just you and the doctor, not three strangers crowding around your pet..I did not at all like the way they handled my dog and I felt so bad that I put her through that..this may have been a one time incident but I would never take the chance of putting her through that again to find out..I would never recommend ANYONE to this place.
