I just left this café not too long ago. Had my 2 daughters and best friend with me and we decided to go out for Thai food. This 'cafe' is the worst experience I have ever had in my life. The owner of Bangkok Cafe, Yim, her older sister whose name I do not know had the worse customer service ever. The food here was completely bland. We ordered 2 pepsis, 2 waters, papaya salad, nam tok, stir fry noodle, and a chicken noodle soup. The papaya salad was tolerable, I asked the waitress to make the papaya salad extra spicy (the waitress is Yim's older sister-in-law, Toom), but the salad had no peppers in it. All the other dishes were bland, had no flavor whatsoever. I am Thai and do not want to discriminate amongst other Thais, but this particular restaurant was not up to par. Not good. Bland. The older sister had the audacity to come out of the kitchen and curse me to my face, that's right! The owner, Yim, came out and cursed at me, a customer. I told her I was not willing to pay for the food I did not eat and felt that I should not be charged for food I did not eat. I was willing to pay for the papaya and the drinks. That is when Yim's older sister came out of the restaurant to proceed with putting us down. Yim charged us for the meal and we did pay for the whole order. I felt that the police should of been called on these people for their lack of etiquette. How RUDE the owners. How awful the food. Worst experience ever. I do not recommend any one spend their money here. However, the money spent here, I consider a donation to them. There are plenty of other Thai restaurants in the area. Do try out the others before stepping foot in this cafe. ~Signed, Disappointed Visitor.\r more
