""Just purchased a brand new Porsche Turbo and the factory radio/navigator system didn't have many features. Roger Beasley Porsche dealer referred me to Custom Sounds on Burnet Rd. I pulled up and Mr. Faddi (I believe might be one of the owners) must have noticed my paper plates and came outside to greet me and congratulate me on my purchase. While looking at my car I explained everything I was looking for. He seemed to know everything about my car which made me comfortable as they probably have done work on many of these.\r
One trick I use when gauging a salesman is to tell them that I am not prepared to get anything done for a few months or so. The level of enthusiasm at that point will indicate whether it's going to be a good experience or just another sales guy out for a quick buck. His response was """"Perfect! That gives us plenty of time to research products"""". He got my attention now.\r
He showed some navigator systems with bluetooth and satellite radio. The high end Kenwood unit was the one he pitched strongly. This unit is incredible and has endless features. We must have been in the demo room for an hour! I knew at that point had I selected any other unit I would be missing some features I may want. So my mind was pretty much set at this point.\r
I ended up dropping the car off to get the installation of the Kenwood unit. I was a bit worried because they had to rebuild my dash area around the radio as it wasn't designed for this type of thing. But they showed pictures of installations so that put me at ease. \r
Picked up the car the next day, Faddi gave me a refresher course on how it functions. Everything looked great. The parts they built to house my new navigator matched perfectly to my vehicle. I am very impressed and will fully recommend them. The only issue I had was that I am not able to play DVD movies. It only works while the parking brake is engaged and they wouldn't tell me how to disable this feature. But I won't knock them for that, if it's policy, it's policy. At least they were upfront about it. I will do my research and figure it out. \r
I received a follow up email a few days later which was nice. Next up will be my Escort radar installation!""\r
