We had contacted Able Appliance Repair as an alternate to our previous service company for dishwasher service. We had a 7 year old Bosch dishwasher and our previous service company required us to bring the dishwasher to them for service instead of in-home service. We found that to be overly cumbersome and called around. I was intrigued by the $9.95 service call and thought surely there was a ""catch"" to that. I contacted Able and at first was told that they don't service Bosch dishwashers, but then they remembered they had one technician who could service them. They sent Justin out to our home and he had diagnosed the problem over the phone based on our description. Unfortunately it ended up being more involved and an additional part had to be ordered. The part was delivered and Justin came to install it. The dishwasher ran beautifully for about 4 times, then the same problem returned. We contacted Able and they happily sent Justin out again who was able to determine that the dishwasher motor was delivering too much amperage and had damaged the new part that had been installed. He said it was cost-prohibitive to replace the motor and recommended replacing the dishwasher. We were disappointed to have to replace it, but we're extremely pleased with Justin's professionalism and ability to provide sound advice. Able Appliance refunded our money, including labor fees, which was about 50% the cost of our new Bosch. It is difficult to find a service company that provides great service to the appliance as well as the customer. We will definitely call Able Appliance in the future and request Justin.
