If I could give no star, I would. They won't allow you to adopt a kitten unless you adopt two, however you may adopt only one adult cat. I went in with my husband and was pleased to see many adorable kittens, however, someone soon informed me that I would have to either take an adult cat or two kittens, because kittens require so much attention that they wouldn't let them be adopted by themselves. The workers were rude and condescending. They patiently informed me that ""Kittens grow up to be cats, you know."" Thanks. Fortunately, I found the world's most adorable 12-week-old tortie at Petsmart. One year later, she is spoiled, receives a ton of attention, and is one of the sweetest kitties around. I don't think she'd be better off had we gotten two -- there is lots of research that suggests that domestic cats are not made to be social or pack animals and there fore do not prefer having another feline in the home. Shopping there was an incredibly frustrating experience.
