Jeri Buckner was the most despicable person to deal with in a rental situation.\r
She and the landlord left my family and I, including small children whom are asthmatic, in a 90+ degree home in the middle of 100+ degree temperatures in Texas for weeks. The air conditioning unit broke several times on the home that we were renting and every time we called/wrote Jeri, it took her several weeks, at one time, it took her a month to respond to a request. We had to go stay with relatives, stay in the home when relatives did not have room. They refused to reimburse us for us not being able to even live in the home that we were paying for. The owners are wealthy and claimed to not be so, Jeri blatantly disregarded her professional manners and treated us like we were animals.\r
Several times, ignoring our calls until we called from a number that she did not recognize. We finally got her to release us from the lease because of all of the issues with the home (the A/C was not the only issue, go figure) and it took 1 1/2 months for her to even send us any type of refund. The only reason she did, is because we began calling her, again, she ignored our calls and instead sent us a lengthy ridiculous itemized security deposit statement. She gave us back $200 of our $1,250 security deposit, claiming that the rest of it was needed to clean and paint the home.\r
Kelsey Rogoway and her father Ken Rogoway are the owners of the home, but they only show that Kelsey is the owner, unless you check the Central Appraisal District records. Then go ahead and check her daddy's property, nice and big and worth nearly $500,000.\r
They could afford to reimburse us for the months that they left us out of a home, considering it is their responsibility.\r
I have several recordings of Jeri yelling at me and telling me to ""read between the lines Honey"" and telling us that the issues that we called with were our problem, then turning back around within a matter of minutes and recanting her statement, then letting us know when someone would be by to repair the issues.\r
Jeri Buckner at ReMax North Associates and Buckner Realty Ventures, LLC was and is an awful person and professional. I warn you to take caution if you have to deal with her. She has been reported by other renters as well, I have talked with them and her management.
