So let me make everyone aware... If you are expecting service from Standard TV & Appliance you will be sadly disappointed! We reported a need for a service call in August for our washing machine. The first call basically amounted to a cleaning and a need to order a part. When the part finally came in almost 2 weeks later, they called to schedule another service call to come out and install it. Imagine my surprise when I was their first available appointment was 2 weeks later - I asked did you not know the part was due in?? But then 2 weeks later... no repairman showed up. When I called to question this... we don't have an appointment for you. Who did you talk to? What like you don't believe me?? So okay then, when CAN you reschedule me? Guess what? 2 weeks later!! So Larry the repairman shows up to install the part on my washing machine door. Surprise! He needs to take the whole door off and take it in to install the new handle?? Luckily he brought it back the next day and installed it. 2 days later when we go to wash a load of laundry... the door will not latch so the washing machine won't work. So the next business day, I call to make another appointment for someone to come out to fix the door again! Yep, 2 weeks for the next appointment. That was last Thursday... no one shows up. So I call and ask... we don't have an appointment for you... who did you make the appointment with?? Seriously??!!!! So when can you get someone out?? Next Friday!!! Mind you every appointment that was scheduled and or missed meant someone had to stay home from work.... I ask for a supervisor and was transferred to Chelsea's and was transferred. Guess what? Voice Mail!!! I left a message and surprise, surprise 2 days later, no supervisor, no service technician and still a washing machine that will not work at all now. WOW! This is by far the worst service I have EVER received form ANY company. I will be taking my business elsewhere and sending the bill to Standard... What do you think of my chances of reimbursement??\r more
