I used Stearns for several years and all was well until 2012. He was very rushed and filed extensions because he couldn't get to my taxes on time. I wasn't in a hurry, so I was fine with the extensions and late filings until several months later when I was contacted by the IRS and told that I filed my taxes late, and that they were seizing my paycheck to pay the late filing penalty. \r

I contacted Stearns, and was he told me the extension he filed didn't go through because his fax dropped the call and he never realized it, but that he would write me a letter to send to the IRS explaining the issue. He has since stopped answering my calls, never wrote me anything to send the IRS, and the IRS seized my money.\r
