My son ""won"" a ""free"" membership by entering a drawing. He was told his membership was FREE including a FREE visit with personal trainer to make a workout plan--""we just need your VISA on file"" and please sign these papers."" Now they claim he owes $250 and that he also signed a contract for personal trainer 2x a week for a whole year--HILARIOUS since he's leaving the country for 2 years. The kid is 18 and was taken advantage of--clearly he did not know what he was signing. And the salesman flat-out lied to him.
