I have bought and sold many pieces of furniture at The Missing Piece. I type this as I am sitting on a fabulous bed purchased from the Britton Plaza location. Today (Sat 01/19/13), at the Britton Plaza store, I was treated so poorly. Upon entering the store, I was greeted with “Can I help you we close in 14 minutes”. After 45 seconds, another sales person bellowed: “CAN I HELP YOU!” in a tone that sounded like: “Can I help you – please leave quickly”. I left the store at 5:50pm, after doing a 2 minute lap around the store. Another sales person bellowed: “CAN I HELP YOU!” in a tone that sounded like: “Can I help you – please leave quickly”. I was shocked by my treatment, especially after having been a loyal customer for 10 years.
