When choosing a company for service it is important to do your research. We have been in business since 1969 and have maintained an excellent rating with the BBB and other consumer ratings groups. A negative posting like the one from BeckT is upsetting to us here at A-1 Antenna TV Service Co. The television that was in our shop had an intermittent problem which is why the line was ""anoying at times"". When the customer called it was not acting up which is why they were told it was fine. We do not quote until we confirm a symptom. When it did act up, we identified the problem and gave an estimate for repairs which in this case was an expensive one. The customer did not want it repaired and wanted to come get it. We always deliver the televisions back if a service call was paid, this cutomer wanted to come get it so we did not argue and released it. The customer transported it and called us a few days later regarding the impact damaged panel. Unfortunately any improper transport can cause damage, especially with a flat panel television. We are sorry that this happened but cannot cover what happens after it leaves our care. Again, our reputation stands for itself. Do your research and do not rely on ONE post to decide on a service company of any kind.
