We left our 8# poodle there for a weeks vacation. When we got back she had lost half her body weight. She was emaciated and dehydrated!!! We took her to our vet immediately and he suggested a heart specialist on the west side of St Louis. She spent several days there with IVs and other medication. We fed her with syringes and she fought so hard to live, insisting on going outside to potty and so weak we had to hold her up on her feet. She lost the battle and died 3 weeks after we retrieved her from the place that killed her. NEVER TAKE A PET THERE!
