This was my first emergency experience with my 5 month old puppy. It was an absolute DISASTER! Their young, apparently "educated" vet misdiagnosed the foreign object that he did not see in the colon/intestine of my dog. After prescribing fluids, anti-nausea and medications, we were sent on our way. \r

Needless to say, his condition worsened and after vomitting multiple more times, I contacted our regular vet (who I adore and trust- Dr Brown @ Berry Hill). She asked that I bring him immediately to which upon one palpatation found an object in his abdomen and asked permission for x-rays. I agreed and sure enough, there was a large object with metal in his stomach. Did I mention, METAL on an X-RAY. How did your vet miss this 2 days prior?!\r

Needless to say, she prepped him with an iv so as soon as we brought him over, he could begin surgery. She sent me with him and his new x-rays back to the e-vet for emergency surgery. When we arrived, they had NO idea who we were and said
