A definite thumbs DOWN!!! I'd certainly not use them again, nor recommendation to any one else! I am pursuing an attorney for possible for fraud and/or damages against: \r \r Performance HVAC, Inc.\r 1136 Meriwether St, \r Griffin, GA, 30224 \r \r Here is my opinion of them: \r We requested 3 bids from different vendors for the cheapest operating heat-pump system. We feel deceived by Performance, they didn't EVEN install a heat-pump, used a higher BTU heating system than any other vendor recommended. We wanted and was willing to pay for the best!! We spent almost $11,000.00 to get a cheaply operating system we could use year round. What we got was the worse than we could ever have imagined. What we got was a system so costly in the winter, we can't even use it. We come out cheaper using electric space heaters than using the outrageous system they installed. \r \r The job was also what other vendors who have come look at it since, called unprofessional, poorly designed system.\r \r We have many pictures we would be more than happy to show of fallen duct, improperly sized duct, and duct just laying on the ground.\r \r The area was strewn with garbage including them leaving all the packing material and instructions for installing the duct under the house to draw termites.\r \r We have tried to reason with these people sending them picture of the fallen duct, the undersized duct, and the lack of proper strapping ... as well as the quotations by other vendors showing they had not supplied what we requested. They seem totally unconcerned about what we wanted, did not even offer to split the cost of correcting the problem BUT were only willing to ""DISCUSS any ductwork issues."" That is a direct quote from their email.\r \r more
