I am writing this review not for any actual services that I received at this salon, but because the owner/stylist refused to honor a LivingSocial deal that I had purchased. Among a bunch of other enticing services promised, such as a deep conditioning treatment and a Ferrero Rocher chocolate, they also promise single process color and partial highlights. Well he gave me a long explanation as to why highlights would not work on my hair, even though I've had this done successfully to my hair numerous times. In my opinion it was all a ruse to refuse to honor the LivingSocial deal in its entirety. I am so disappointed because I had this appointment scheduled for weeks in anticipation of my engagement pictures and my wedding. So unprofessional and misleading. I do not recommend this establishment and I don't give a negative review lightly.\r

After the fiasco, I found a wonderful salon in Arcadia where I explained what the owner at Flash Art had told me about not being able to do partial highlights on my hair and they could not understand why I was refused service. The stylists there agreed that it was probably just an excuse so that I would not get what I paid for in the deal because they gave me beautiful highlights, color, conditioning, a cut and a style. In the end I got a wonderful service SOMEWHERE ELSE. So I recommend going to EMBELLISH in ARCADIA instead. You will be in GREAT hands with Ruby or Veronica.
